NASSAU, BAHAMAS – ALIV’s strong start to 2022 continues with the announcement of big changes to its retail experience.
In addition to the launch and expansion of its e-commerce platform, ALIV has expanded its retail solutions with the announcement of its new mobile store. ALIV kicked off their mobile store experience with an exclusive event on Thursday at John Watlings where they also unveiled the Samsung S22 which will soon be available in stores.
“During the pandemic, retail has made many of its biggest transformations through constant pivoting, particularly through our mobile stores,” said Retail Chief Executive Patrice Thompson.
“Our fully-equipped mobile store brings the same quality of ALIV service directly to our customers within their communities, making it easier for them to find what they need.”
The mobile shopping experience is not entirely new to ALIV. In 2019, ALIV launched its Affinity Vans, which appear at prominent locations around the islands for carry opportunities and blueprint purchases. The newly launched mobile store not only facilitates plan purchases, but also sells phones, tablets and other digital accessories.
“With the international changes in retail due to the pandemic, we are finding more innovative ways to add value to our customers and expand the ALIV shopping experience,” said Thompson.
“These new mobile stores give our customers the shopping experience they are looking for. In addition to simplifying their experience, we’re also reintroducing the excitement around local retail experiences. »
ALIV announced Thompson’s promotion from General Manager of New Providence to General Manager of Retail in December 2021, expanding his role to develop creative and consistent retail experiences across all islands of The Bahamas.
