Donkey Technologies has launched an online store called ‘donkeyshop’, a new e-commerce startup offering a wide assortment of fashion, beverages, household and food items, electronics, furniture and also second-hand items which are sometimes sold for free.
Donkeyshop is a general e-commerce store powered by Donkey Technologies, an Abuja-based IT company. Donkey Technologies Ltd was founded by Adenike Isi Adeeko, who is an industry leader in data management, digital consulting and strategy expert with a knack for driving innovation.
According to the statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Saturday, the founder, Adenike Isi Adeeko, revealed that they are currently recruiting a new team and hope to recruit a dozen or more people in the coming months.
Recounting her experience, she said, “I have over 14 years of experience in data management, tech start-ups and successful established businesses.”
She noted that over the years she has worked with top brands across a wide range of industries in Africa. She is also responsible for the tech-focused entertainment center, Tiki Cultures.
In his own words: “Consumer behavior has changed in recent years, people have less time to travel for groceries or even clothes. We want to be a one stop shop for everything you can buy.
We often add new categories, we’re about to add ‘Cars’ and ‘lists’ of services to our long list of what we offer, and we come up with ridiculous offers daily,” Adenike added.
“Donkeyshop is for anyone who wants to buy discounted items, we source direct from the manufacturers and our website address is www.donkeyshop.ng.
“We also have ‘used’ items and retail categories where some items are sold at Zero Naira. Yes, absolutely free shopping and the online store is open from 9 p.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays only,” she said.
