French 3PL company, FM Logistic, on Tuesday inaugurated its first Multi-Client Facility (MCF) in Farrukhnagar, Haryana.
The inauguration took place in the presence of Jean-Christophe Machet, Global CEO of FM Logistic, Stéphane Descarpentries, Managing Director – Asia and Strategic Projects Director, and Alexandre-Amine Soufiani, Managing Director, FM Logistic India.
The newly inaugurated MCF is part of the €150 million five-year investment plan announced by the company in March 2019.
Located on a 31-acre site, the state-of-the-art facility will provide state-of-the-art warehousing and handling, co-packing, distribution, e-commerce and omnichannel services to meet dynamic customer demands.
The construction of this facility was supervised by NG Concept, real estate sister company of FM Logistic.

Spread over 7.6 Lakh Sq. ft. the facility is accessible from the Kundali-Manesar-Palwal highway (Delhi) and thus provides faster access to major consumer hubs in the North. Equipped with a storage capacity of 1 Lakh pallet positions, the facility also provides dedicated space to perform co-packing and other value-added activities.
Numerous docking stations, parking spaces for 2 and 3 wheelers, charging stations for electric vehicles, MHE charging stations, etc. are some of the unique features of this newly constructed facility. The installation offers a free height of 12 meters and densified FM2 floors.
To meet the unique needs of customers, provision has been made for battery operated MHE and MTS (Multi Tier Shelving) shelving systems. Equipped with best-in-class safety and security features, the warehouse offers cost-effective, quality storage, handling and distribution services.
The warehouse is equipped with insulation panels on the roof as well as on the walls to ensure that the temperature inside the warehouse is 6-8 degrees lower than the temperature outside. CO2 sensors have been installed to check CO2 levels.
