Apotek Hjärtat, Sweden’s largest pharmacy chain, has signed a new partnership with GreyOrange to develop automation solutions for its new 20,000 square meter e-commerce warehouse to open in September in Norrköping.
Thanks to this partnership, Apotek Hjärtat will take a further step in the automation of its logistics. The warehouse that supplies the pharmacies with goods is already largely automated, but the new collaboration gives Apotek Hjärtat the conditions to continue improving the customer experience through faster and smoother deliveries.
Eric Lundberg, CEO of Apotek Hjärtat, says: “Through this collaboration, we continue to automate our logistics flows and thus lay the foundation for the next generation of e-commerce offerings.
“We chose GreyOrange because it is an innovative and exciting company that is at the cutting edge of technology and it is exactly where we want to be in providing our customers with a world-class customer experience. The solution we will be looking at will be the first in the Nordic region.”
Founded in 2011, GreyOrange is a global technology company specializing in AI-based software and mobile robotics that modernizes and optimizes inventory management. GreyOrange already has cooperation agreements with global retail companies in North America, among others.
Samay Kohli, CEO of GreyOrange, said: “We are proud to collaborate with another of Europe’s leading companies. Apotek Hjärtat is already successful, but with the automation solution from GreyOrange, even better conditions are created for long-term growth.
“Our solution is well prepared for the challenge of meeting Apotek Hjärtat’s high quality goals and will help Apotek Hjärtat increase its efficiency.”
