Wizards of the Coast Launches First Ecommerce Store in Southeast Asia with Exclusive Secret Lair Offers

The trend of ecommerce is the new way of life, and it’s no wonder that more and more companies and brands are leaping into the online space to reach the modern audience. Following in the footsteps of its Western counterparts, Wizards of the coast will debut on Shopee Singapore, marking his very first e-commerce storefront in South East Asia (SEA).

The table editor offers a selection of bestsellers from Magic: The Gathering (MTG) and Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) to the new platform, as well as Secret Lair drops that will not be available on other channels or retail partners. Showcasing ultra-collectible cards in collaboration with different artists or popular franchises, this opening event will start on October 19 and end on November 16, with the Strange things tie-in being one of the most anticipated releases of the month.

Fans, who can enjoy around 70% savings on shipping costs compared to the traditional channel, will also be able to get their hands on exclusive e-commerce offers specially designed targeting new players, such as the D&D Starter kits or D&D Essential Kits with Monster Manual and Players Handbook. For MTG hobbyists, there’s also the latest Innistrad: Crimson Vow set available on the list.

To celebrate the grand opening of the SEA storefront and the Secret Lair deposit feature, Wizards rewards the top three spenders (applicable to in-store items only) from October 24 to 26 with a Secret Lair set among its three October drops: Strange things, Monster Movies Marathon, and Midnight hunt. Note, however, that all expenses must be accumulated on a single receipt, payment being made by October 26th.

A set of two promotional cards will be reserved for each purchase made with a minimum spend of S $ 100 on all items in our store throughout these dates. All new subscribers to the official store, meanwhile, can take advantage of another little bonus – a S $ 2 voucher on their purchases made during that same period.

Shipping costs have always been a concern when it comes to international storefronts, so a reduction in costs on this front is welcome. In addition, the launch of an e-commerce platform here makes it more accessible for the SEA crowd to purchase their desired cards, especially for people who are already looking to venture into the D&D and MTG way of life.
